About our Founder

A seasoned entrepreneur, Bridget is an accountant with 25 years of experience in finance, a degree in psychology, and four thriving businesses.

Whilst Bridget was studying for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with Criminology. Bridget decided to test the theory on ‘Attitudes Towards Offenders’ which covered how individuals viewed offenders, the media’s perception of offenders and the influence the media has on the lives of offenders. The likelihood of individuals employing offenders. And the likelihood of offenders reoffending, due to a lack of Education, Training and Employment. Bridget’s findings were that the attitudes to her study were that they were all negative attitudes towards offenders. Bridget felt opportunities should be offered to offenders in order for them to be rehabilitated and to live meaningful lives in society.

Upon completion of her dissertation titled ‘Attitudes Towards Offenders’, Bridget felt compelled to improve attitudes, perceptions and stereotypes of offenders. Bridget desired to bridge the gap in employment opportunities and new business startups to alleviate any negative experiences and instead push for independence, confidence and self-worth; and a life of business.

This pivotal factor, along with Bridget’s own entrepreneurship desires and the lack of opportunity within the education setting when she was younger. Also catapulted the birth of her fourth business Teen Tycoons in 2017.

Bridget has a passion for freedom, fulfilling her own potential and inspiring young people to succeed. She offers her wealth of expertise in the world of business to drive the mission of Teen Tycoons.
